Anyone know of any good spring bumps within a couple hrs of northern NJ? Camelback, Shawnee, Blue, Jack Frost, Mt. Creek, Bellayre, Hunter, Windham? Anywhere else I'm missing? 2.5 hrs or less ideally...Looking to make a day trip Saturday.

Belleayre had several bump runs. I was there yesterday and conditions are still amazing. Bumps looked pretty solid beneath the loose snow. Temps have stayed pretty cool at night, so some ice in the base has been pretty well preserved.

Looks like its gonna be Belleayre. Takes me 2 hrs and change from Morristown, but I drive a little fast.

I think Hunter regularly closes off their best bump run to preserve it for events; or there may be another reason, but it seems that their best bumps are very often closed off with the dayglo tape.

I recently saw a bunch of guys ignoring a 'closed' sign and going down some bumps, too; so they must have been desperate.
