Staying at Mittersill Resort 2/2

I have a friend who is an owner at http://www.mittersillresort.com and he's letting me crash there thursday night 2/2 ! His place is right on the corner of the hotel and his six person hot tub looks straight up Barons! If you look at the photo in the link its the corner suite at the top of the white part of the building above the old ticket windows.
Let's hope next weeks storm is epic!
I'll be skiing friday so shout out if any AZ'ers are in the nieghborhood.

I'll be working that day, Friday night racing at BW, and checking out the bands about 9-930PM in Franconia at the CannonMtnViewMotel-AboveTheNotchCafe, and/or the "new VH", now-known-as FarmhouseTavern. I second your motion for an epic storm, as Mittersill or any OB glades were virtually unskiable last weekend.

Sun into Mon might be a mix...Mon into Tues has a better chance of significant snowfall. We could all use any of that.

There is a long range forecast that is calling for a MAJOR snow event on or around 2/8. I'm heading up to Cannon on 2/9 and I'll be skiing 2/10-2/12 there.

It's still too early to know for sure, but I have a habit of bringing big snowstorms to areas I'm vacationing at. Last season it was 3 feet+ (sorry NHPH, I know you don't like the +) at MRG.

I've never been to Cannon and I'd like to check out some of the more out of the way places there. Think snow!
