There's also the possibility of getting coffee spilled on you if you ski under the lift. How would that look in the papers? Skier maimed from scalding hot coffee dumped from above

It could work, i bet we could get cup holder in Mt Snow six pack, have expensive fine for littering and enforce it.

Medium FV light and sweet.

Again, I don't freequent Starbucks that much. So I'm in one on a trip a few years back. Ask for a medium coffee because I'm there for caffine, no a cultural imersion in languages. Guy fills the thing practically to the top. What the hell? I now know to ask to leave room for cream and sugar.

when i do visit starbucks i refuse to say VENTI or GRANDE. medium or large black please. drives my wife crazy when i do that, which is probably partly why i keep it up.

Here's the kicker. Some places, including McDonalds where I'll grab a Newmans coffee from time to time, don't have a "small". They ask if you'd like medium or large. You can't have a freaking medium without having a small and a large. That's what the term implies; in the middle. See that crap at pizza joints too. What? Do you think I feel like I'm getting a better deal because you happen to call your smallest size coffee, pizza, etc. a medium instead of a small? No, what I feel is that your marketing department is full of idiots. :smash:

Before 5am was free up here, for a while, now only $1.07 for medium...not bad, however the people(young + older(my agegroup..lol)) at my local Starbucks don't make a bad blonde... Marketing people are always the young crowd DHS = always brainstorming...lol.

+1, always say MEDIUM ( with emphasis ) latte.

DD's coffee is ok once in a while, but the rest of their stuff is crap. Dounut are just empty sugary crap. Their Bagels should not be allowed to be called bagels - DD has no clue what a Bagel is.

I agree about the size phrasing at Starbucks. I fantasize that if most of us just keep saying "medium" they'll just give up and change it.
