stowe feb 14 th freakin awsome

posting this from my phone at the base lodge. today was one of those day where you sit back go hot damm. i still haven't even made it over to the gondi. i will give a full report with pics when i actually get behined the computer. now every one listen very carefully. get your asses north its off the hook.

Today was freaking great. 2 laps off the summit, untracked snow. Perfect pow. Watched some unknown guy absolutely kill the hourglass from below after skiing profanity untracked. Got a couple pics, that pretty much say it all. Notice his line in. Aired off the skier's right shoulder into the choke. Absolutely KILLED it. Hoot and hollers head echoing thru the woods and high passes all morning. Truely fabulous powder runs today.
ps, no rain of any kind fell at Stowe.

Awesome shots, JD. I was up on the Chin on Tuesday...'twas also clear but windblown. This storm seemed to come in without much wind and it looked freakin' beautiful up there!

i just got back nj. that was two incredible days i can't belive how much snow there is. the question of the day is where are all the people? if there isn't a fresh line just traverse a little more right or left. i have to out to dinner but ill put up the picks i managed to grab no action shots because i was solo but they do show what happens when you do some poking around.
