Stowe Mountain Resort is Dropping (Ticket Prices) 'Til It's Hot

STOWE, Vermont — Stowe Mountain Resort is one of the few ski resorts in the East remaining open this season. This is due in part to over 300" of natural snowfall and enhanced snowmaking systems this winter. In addition, better than half of Stowe's legendary terrain still has good top-to-bottom snow coverage, with base depths holding at 20"-34". Stowe's closing date is set for April 23 (weather depending), and Stowe is dropping their lift ticket price every day April 18 to 23. Starting on Tuesday the 18th, the current $42 ticket rate will decrease by $7 every day until lift tickets are FREE on Sunday April 23, Stowe's final day of the season. April 23rd will also serve a fund raiser for the Stowe Education Fund.

It is every skier and rider's right of Spring to enjoy good snow, warm weather and sunshine. So get to Stowe and make your last days of the season memorable ones!

We will see how long they make it this year. Last year they didn't get close to offering free skiing despite a similar schedule.
