Stratton - 1/25/2009

Went on another trip with the ski club, this time to Stratton... the bus we rode up on didn't have any heat so that kind of sucked... I hit the slopes around 9:30 and skied til 3:30... thankfully I had hand warmers and gore-tex clothing because it was windy and very cold out... conditions on the trails I skied were machine groomed and packed powder... didn't do any of the bumps or glades.

Those bumps just below the snow bowl chair were not fun at all on Sunday.

gonna hit stratton on sunday. looks pretty skiied out. hope the storm can do some magic....

Was it their odd spacing or the snow between them being scraped off.

Snow scraped off. Trail was a sheet of bumpy ice....Some nicer bumps over on Sun Bowl though. Not great, but certainly nicer.

My boots were in the overhead and even they were cold... took some effort putting them on.

Peter Pan sent another bus so the ride home was nice and toasty.
