Date(s) Skied: 11/21/07 - Morning

Resort or Ski Area: Stratton

Conditions: - Wet, soft snow in a cloud(fog)

Trip Report:

Figured its time to start wokring off the S-O-S pass I bought last April...

Ran up to Stratton for the morning. Was able to get out today OR Sunday.....figured today would be less crowded andsnow would be softer. Both were the case. Skiied the upper mountain from 9:15 to 11:30. Heavy Fog/Clouds limited visability at times, but the snow was nice and soft. Decent coverage on the 2-3 ways down from the summit. Lapped the Ursa Major 6-pak except to leave.

Didnt stand in a lift line once.... :)

Man not just for Stratton, but all VT areas - when the cold temps hit Friday/this weekend all that moisture laden snow is going to set up like a rock...

Nevertheless - was a fun, low key way to start off the season.

Felt REALLY good to be back on snow....

Cr@ppy Cell phone pIc here (I hope)
