Stratton Free Pass Contest

Has anyone heard if Stratton is planning to run their free pass contest again this year?

Did anyone from here actually win a pass last year? If I remember the contest, I thought they claimed they were giving away many passes, like over 1000. I don't recall reading anyone actually winning on here.

My old lady won a pass but we never used it. If I remember it was around the 20th attempt.

I won one and gave it to a buddy. I had the S-O-S pass and did not tnned it. Know a guy at work who had two and never used them - waste.

I won a pass on my 25th try and used it for a great day of skiing. The Stratton free pass changed my view of that operation. The pass office tried hard to make the experience pleasurable and over looked the duct taped clothing I was wearing.

Woahhh...hadn't heard of this before....but then again I normally wouldn't ski Stratton..anyone got more details on entering to win the pass if they offer it again? How'd you go about it last year? I'd definitely make use of it.

2 seasons ago I got a free pass for Flatton because I signed up for their online newsletter.

Woahhh...hadn't heard of this before....but then again I normally wouldn't ski Stratton..anyone got more details on entering to win the pass if they offer it again? How'd you go about it last year? I'd definitely make use of it.

Usually (past two years) the have a contest on their website (Someone usually posts a link when it drops) and you can enter once a day - It took me somethign like 23 days of entering to win if memory serves...but its a coupon you print off and bring for a free day - no strings/blackouts if I'm not mistaken...

I hope they do it again, I'm kind of regretting not cashing in on the freebies I had the past 2 seasons. I know other people dislike Stratton and yes, there is nothing crazy steep but it's a fun cruising mt. with decent vert and great snow and lifts. I've only skied there mid week though.

I think it is/was a good marketing scheme, certainly created good will with me. Before I would never have recommended Stratton to anyone, now I will - if that's the experience someone is looking for. And I'm always happy to ski for free
