A while ago someone posted a web address for free tickets to Stratton. I of course jumped on that and downloaded two, one for myself and one for my wife. They appeared have no strings attached, however I'm skeptical . I was wondering if anybody has used these freebees yet. If so were you held captive for a 2 hour condo sales pitch?

Mine are stuck to the fridge, along with all the other coupons we've collected so far.

I don't think there are any strings on the Stratton tickets. At least, the instructions for redeeming them are (IIRC) "Go to the window with it."

it DID say something like "one per family" so I'm wondering if they're gonna hold you to that...

Being the frugal and bottom feeding skier that I am, I tried to use my free coupon at Stratton and it worked! I handed over the coupon and was given a free lift ticket. Stratton had great faux sneaux coverage on 25 trails and the gondola and two six packs running, hand lotion in the rest rooms and shuttle to take you from the car to a point near the base lodge. In the past you had to walk through the faux tyrolian village.

Sweet, I look forward to using the tickets I procured through their website.

Hi folks...

Does anyone still know the address that was used to get these comp tickets and do you know if it's still active?

It was a promo that was inserted in SKI and SKIING mags and, regrettably, was only open to the first 1,000 people, which has come and gone :(

Welcome to the boards and do ski with us at another gathering though!

Has anybody used these that had more then "one per family". I was hoping to talk my wife into using ours after Pres. week?

My wife and I both used ours this past Saturday. We have the same last name, but, as a precaution, went to different ticket windows. No problems, no questions asked. We skied all day there for a grand total of $5.00.

That was for the all day lift pass for my 5 yr. old daughter.

That's what I wanted to hear.

I still have mine too. Prehaps an impromtu Stratton Cupon Meetup is in order.

If anyone else is up for it, I'd be good for This Sunday.
Wow! You don't waste any time, Andy. I can't make it Sunday though. Paul, did they check ID's?

I'm a bit antsy this week, it was a good 4 days of skiing this past weekend(took a couple of extra days). But this coming weekend is a the last of my blackout days on my ASC All for One pass. As a result, I may not ski this weekend. As a result, a bit antsy and ready to jump on any opportunity :)
