Barely got through the abstract before I found something that I don't agree with:

only a minority of skiers and snowboarders wear helmets

Also, note these two references:

I think a lot more people wear helmets now than they did in 2004 and certainly 2001. I for one didn't start wearing mine until 2005. I would say a majority wear helmets now, including adults.

re: more people wearing helmets....More and more every year it seems.

One of my ski pals a few years older than me just broke down last year. He wishes he'd done it long ago, especially for the warmth when skiing Cannon.
