Date(s) Skied: November 22-23, 2008
Resort or Ski Area: Sugarbush--Lincoln Peak
Conditions:
Saturday: 8-10 inches of P, Chowder on solid SM base.
Sunday: MG to perfection.
Weather:
Saturday: Wind driven snow, lifting late. Temps falling into the 20's and 10's.
Sunday: Bluebird skies, bitter cold winds, temps in the 10's.
Trip Report:
Saturday:
Opening day. As is usual, I could not get there fast enough. Roads from BTV were terrible...just enough snow to make it slick and no plowing. Traffic was terribly slow...but I still made it to the lifts at 9:10am or so.
No complaints. Nice pow--it was legit despite what some naysayers were posting in here. Crowds were not bad from 9-11, but after 11am it got pretty busy and after 1pm it was very busy and getting skied off. I will let the pics do the talking...no real comments since it was laps on Jester, Deathspout, and Lower Jester.
A smiling Trailboss.
…the reason to be smiling
Organgrinder…coming soon.
