Never skied Snowbird, but I did stay there once for a few days in the summer. It's a gorgeous area and it wasn't hard to imagine what the trails would look like under 20 feet of snow.

problem with the bird is people are so freaking competitve on powder days. i cant stand the first chair scene there. in all honesty i would rather head to solli or snowbasin with slightly less snow but this also because i don't know the place as well. i have only spent on the average 2 days there a season. that being said da bird shits in da bush.

actually ... definitely not better but perhaps more ... if you want bumps out west, you go to the mary jane. i second what hardline said about competition on a pow day.

Ther is no comparison. The bird has some of the best extreme skiing in the world. They have some of the best snow in the world.
Bush not so much.
