WARREN, VT — In the November issue of Skiing magazine, the Resort was listed on Page One in the magazine's Top Spots listing of eastern destinations.

The magazine conducts a poll of its editors, writers and athletes to determine what resorts are featured. Survey criteria include skiable acres, average snowfall and vertical, but it also takes into account such intangibles as mountain "atmosphere" and the après experience.

"I guess the cat's out of the bag," joked Ski and Ride School director John Egan. "We've known for years that this is the best mountain around, but it's awesome that the resort was recognized by a magazine like Skiing."

Sugarbush was awarded a fifth place ranking for its terrain in the October issue of SKI magazine. For the latest Resort information, visit sugarbush.com.

They also did a nice job of running the SAME article about Jiminy Peak twice in two consecutive months. Why? As much as JP is good, I'd like to hear about other NE resorts (such as the great Burke article).
