Alot of the snow from a couple of days ago has pretty much melted from the mountain, perhaps in a few days.

That pano was even better hiking it on Sat 10/21

Snow on 10/21 was excellent and the view SRO shows was just how it looked. Hiked up Snowball to Alyns, and then to Summit. Not enough snow really to ski on that route. Sections of jester were skiable, although no one had.

Hiked out to Mt Abe, it was an icy mess, but LT was fine with about 6".

Hiked across LT to Castle Rock, down parts of CR run, and then onto Troll Road. Parts of CR were skiable, but none were skied by Sat at 4:30 pm.

The clouds actually made for an inversion and it was much warmer while the clouds were covering the upper 1/3 of the Mt.

Hiked the backside looking for new stashes on Sunday............the pics will have to wait until its skiable.

Wow...I was there at the new base lodge Friday. It was so warm and rainy it seemed like it would never snow. One day later, and we look ready!

That top picture is very nice. Was that taken with a Digital SLR? What were the settings? The background mountains are very clear for a cloudy day. It's usually hard to set up a digital on a day like that to take a picture this good. What was the trick?
