Well this Sunday which would you do? We defin will be on first chair either way. Assuming North will be a zoo?

Has slidebrook been running? More importantly is slidebrook running without incidents?

- - - -

Tried to get discount tix today at anderson ski in EG RI.

Sold out.

Guess we are paying $72:sad: vs $62.

I'd rather go to MRG, but the girls aren't interested. Maybe Tues (when it's nice and firm)

Monday looking like a rainout?

Slide Brook will run on weekends and holidays, and presumably, all next week due to the holiday vacation week. It will not run if the temps are below 5 or 10 or something around then since they don't want folk to freeze in the event of a lift evac. Also, there must be snow in the basin to operate the lift, also because of evac purposes, but with the 2-3 feet plus of snow in there, a few showers ain't gonna be an issue.

I ride at North/Mt Ellen/North/etc usually and have found it to be a ghost town (compared to South/Lincoln Peak) especially on weekends and holidays. There's no doubt at the South is more crowded on weekends, due to its close proximity to the condos, village, and Clay Brook. Rarely have any lines to wait in at North, while South can have some good sized lines at both the 'Bravo and the Gate House. Though, South has more terrain than North, and you're looking at enough terrain to disperse the crowds. Usual spots will have their crowds.

Regarding tix, check out the list of off-site ticket sales locations on sugarbush.com... I can't imagine everyone would be sold out, and depending where you're coming from or where you're staying, you may be able to find something.

um, aren't Mt Ellen and North the same place????

personal opinion rules on this call. I personally am more of a M. Ellen guy myself. Unless it's going off, snow is deep and Castlerock calls.....most days I prefer the terrain and vibe at Mt Ellen. that's just me though

can't go wrong either way though.

Offsite places have to order the tiks so I guess Anderson ran out. If there is another place near you they might have some.

Mt Ellen/North is the same place...that's probably why Jay posted it that way as some people still refer to Mt Ellen as Sugarbush North.

Even tho I have been trying to train myself to say Mt Ellen, North does slip out so we made it easy on ourselves and refer to it as Mellen. :lol;

Anderson's is the only sugarbush disc shop in RI

Which is kinda lame I think.........and unfortunately for me.

Unlike most mts, I think sugarbush is actually worth $72....

ouch did I say that?
