so, I've never been. I am going. Not sure when, but I am. Is there anything to do @ night besides stay in and drink PBR'S? Also, I'll prob do a fri-sun thing...I was thinking of doing Bush on sat, and Stowe on sun. Is this feasible? Worth it?

Do it.

Stowe and Sugarbush are really great mountains. Terrain is awesome and snow conditions are dependable to perfect. You'll have plenty of ground to cover at both places and you'll probably need the night to re-charge. Lots of good restaurants and bars in the Stowe area access road (108). Less so in the Mad River Valley but there's a good enough selection of places to go to keep you occupied.

Check out KingM's inn (the Golden Lion). It's right at the entrance to the Sugarbush access road. Great breakfasts. Have fun!

Can't speak from experience for Stowe, but I assume like Sugarbush, if you're doing the terrain justice and skiing it as hard as you should be, then you'll probably find yourself happily sleeping at night!

You could easily spend 2 - 3 days at either mtn, so dont feel pressure to "have to" get to the other....

Assuming they are both 100% open, don't split your days. Give a whole weekend to one and then hit the other for a full, seperate weekend. Both have great terrain, and enough of it to keep any new skier to the mountain busy for a full weekend.

to reiterate: these mountains will have you skiing so hard all you want to do will be drinking and sleeping...don't judge a mountain by it's night life....and there is enough terrain at the bush or stowe to stay a week
