The current proposal has no mid station and basically runs up the gondi line.

You are correct the Big Sky Gondola is being stored at Sugarloaf in the bushes, or at least it was originally.

Some of the cabins from the Big Sky Gondola were (or are) stored at Sugarloaf but not the rest of the lift. It was 30+ years old and was seriously damaged when it de-roped in its final operating season.

I agree a 2-s or 3-s gondola seems like a good idea for such a windy place.

2 or 3 cable gondola is without the way to go, but how they get that done with their current pricing estimates is beyond me and on top of that the longer they wait the bigger the price tag so 8 million now, might be 10-12 by the time they get around to it.
