Started out the day by leaving at 5 and getting to sugarloaf by before 9
amazing time. To start the day i decided to use my new pockets rockets for the first time. For the first few runs i just did laps off the superquad doing most of the main trails(narrow gauge and comp hill were closed due to racing) Everything was nicely groomed, but still a little hard and icy. Then went up to the spillway chair and did a few runs of that, also did u a few of king pine and whiffletree, nothing that great. Later i went and did the backsides for some stupid reason. I have no idea why it was open. The first few turns were nasty, then i turned onto the ridge to get out of it and hit a sheet of ice and almost fell. Then went as far right as possible because it was the only place with snow, wasnt that bad, after that got to an area that was all rocks and had to side step through it  Then after getting out of that i went into cant dog and went to the furthest edge( river bed) which was very fun. The best run of the day ended up being the glade between gondi line and winters way. It is wide open and very steep. It had the softest snow on the mountain.
Saterday- looked like sugarloaf was going to get dumped on because by 10 friday night they had about 2-3 inches of snow and it still snowing very hard, but when i woke up at 6 they only had like 5 inches. Still got out to try to get first chair on the superquad. I got their by 8 and got about 20th chair. Had one of the first tracks on hayburner, very nice. Then just did laps on the superquad the whole day. Every trail was the same. Started out with about 6-10 inches of powder then by about 12 became small soft moguls. The run of the day was the glade in between hayburner and kings landing. For some reason no one was doing it so i did it 3 times in a row with untracked lines everytime in about a foot of snow. By 1:00 i left and it pretty much stopped snowing.
