Anyone headed that way? I just scored 3 vouchers for this weekend so im headed up. I know they just got some snow but you can never really trust the websites trail conditions report...they always butter it up. "20 trails open" actually means two summit to base runs :p

anyway, if you are headed up let me know, we can meet up at the rack

Don't I wish... I'd love to be skiing now, but the fates do not have that plan in mind for me.

My poor car is stuck in the shop being repaired from the "loving" it received from a tractor-trailer while I was at work the week after xmas. I've got my fingers crossed that I'll get it back in time to head up next weekend. :-?

I can only hope with the late start to the season here in the east that good skiing will go late into march and perhaps april.

There's a busload from Boston Ski & Sports Club heading up tonight... forecast looks amenable to snowmaking, if 2:1 against actual snow...

Thanks for the link K2. I'm going to Sugarloaf next month so hopefully it will be better. I was there for the first time last January and again not a great month for them last year. It has potential.

Sunday River & Sugarloaf temps....

Temps are good up here...especially Sugarloaf. If the remaining granite from last Sunday's freeze up of the Saturday-slush has been chopped up....things should be great.
Sunday River's snow was terrific this last week...they've blown a lot of snow....

Have you skied the snow fields at the top of Sugarloaf? I hope they are open when I go in February, looks like fun.

We need some serious snow soon if the snowfields are going to "officially" open anytime soon. But they're pretty sick when open, backside(high rigger) to ripsaw or cant dog is probably my favorite run on the EC
