The Firewall 260 material's three-layer polyester construction features a polyurethane membrane and a light inner-brushing to provide ideal thermo-regulation while offering optimum breathability and moisture transfer, whereas the beefy Subzero fabric is utilized as the jacket's shell due to its poly/spandex blend. The lightweight material puts up a tough defense to cold weather with its wind resistance and water repellency, but it also creates an insulating boundary layer that retains core temperatures while allowing perspiration to pass to the surface. Together, the fabrics act in harmony, providing a consistent internal temperature that's free from the ailments of sweat or weather.
