Only the second day of my season, skied 9:00 - 3:00. Arrived to see a lot of college racers and a pretty big crowd. It was cold, about 10 at the base, not much wind, plenty of sunshine. Headed to Sunbowl since the frontside was looking busy. Was pleasantly surprised by the conditions, lots of fresh snow at the top of sunbowl, looked like a cloud had hung out for a while and left several inches. My friend commented on how soft and nice the moguls were over there. Conditions were good in most places, much more snow than I expected, lots of squeaky fresh snow to be found, found some scraping off by the end of the day, but really nice for the first 4-5 hrs. Although the lodges were crowded, only 2 runs felt that way. We had a great day!

There are bumps on the frontside under the triple chair -- these are the steepest and longest. These were much more solid than the others yesterday. There are bumps in the Sunbowl under the quad. These are the ones my friend found to be nice and soft with several inches of fresh snow. I also can't remember exactly where but there was another short stretch of bumps about midway down off the summit chair.
