Nice---lax is huge around here too---I'm not man enough for that sport and wouldn't know where to leave my beer.

the keg can be placed on the side line or in the net with the goalie. :) ithaca college lax is off to a 5-0 start and ranked #5 in the nation for D3 schools.

I'm not from NE so I know little to nothing about lax...how much of a contact sport is it?

knowing Grassi and his propensity to touch other men, i'd say there's plenty of contact. especially in the mens room after the game.......

Top 10 Goals of 2008

Because I am a defensman I had to throw this in as well. Older footage and a little long but has some of the greats like Dave Pietrolmala from Johns Hopkins and Pat McCabe from Cuse. The butt-end check at 2:13 is sick. Nice body check at 4:30. Actually the last few minutes of this vid feature some hard hits.

PS - There isn't a ton of body checking in these vids. But if the ball is on the ground you can crush an opponent before he scoops the ball so you or one of your teammates can scoop it. Lacrosse can be brutal at times.

Doesn't look that tough to me.

I agree that the flashy goal highlight reel doesn't look tough. But those are some of the smoothest offenses in college lacrosse. But the body checks in the second half of that 2nd video are vicious. Those hits are as hard as football and we wear less padding. Also when you are looking at the ball is on the ground and you don't see the guy taking a full spring at you...... that hit is sudden and jarring!!!!
