Saturday 1/7/06 -The snow was great today. It was very cold. Mostly groomed packed powder. Early morning (8am) we cranked out runs at Barker. Skied Jordan for the first time this season. Jordan was good, but very windy getting there. Monday Morning was the trail of the day as they made “retail” snow on it the night before. Last Tango and Blind Ambition Glades were open, but I didn’t ski them. I did try one wood's trail off the map, but it didn’t have enough cover. It was rather crowded, but we could bounce around the crowds pretty easy. They were making snow on Wildfire, Quantum Leap, and Lost Princess.
Sunday 1/8/06 - The snow was great today. Mostly groomed packed powder again. Barker was good at 8am. We skied all the trails there before heading over and skiing Risky and Amex, which were groomed and sunny. After a brief stop at North peak to have a cinnamon bun and meet up with some friends, we headed for Jordan. Excalibur and Rogue Angel were very nice to cruise. On the way back to Barker weskied Airglow and Black Hole, which were very fun. The trail of the day was definitely Quantum Leap. They had just turned of the guns and the sun came out and skier’s right was awesome. We skied it 3 times in a row. They were making snow on Quantum Leap, Top Gun, and Lost Princess.
