Well, if she has your credit card - you will be impressed by the size of the bill!!! Not cheap to drink there, but certainly worth it on her birthday. It's a cool place!
I fully expect to see a charge on the family VISA card from there, especially since my wife and I couldn't be there today.... Fortunately for my VISA bill, she is now only 1 of 3 or 4 team members who are 21!! :D

Oz is open, Vortex rope dropped, Top Gun Gett ng gunned and Shockwave will be starting along with Salvation. Get very close to all snowmaking terrain open. Remaining runs are Lower Uppercut/Southpaw, Quantum Leap, Upper Airglow, Blackhole and Eureka. Backside and Polaris as well but unsure if that line has ever been fixed and Agony has yet to get new pipes (which also plays into Southpaw and whether they make that).

I don't think they repaired Backside/Polaris I doubt they will ever fix it but who knows.

I think your remaining list was skipped (along with a couple others) last year correct?

Upper Airglow and Quantum I believe both got hit.

Also for this year, forgot Upper and Middle Grand Rapids. They don't break it down on the report, but they haven't hit off the top of North or the stretch from 2nd Mile to LDD incut yet.

Shockwave is the best when they first blow snow on it. Some of the steeper sections get even steeper with the whales that build. I have had some of my best runs on snowmaking trails on Shockwave.

I've been at SR this week getting some midweek skiing in before classes begin. The good news - this stretch has been fantastic for snowmaking, as noted above. It seems like they're ahead of their usual plan; I'm delighted to see Shockwave and Top Gun getting some love in the first half of January. With minimal **** to recover from, they've been able to concentrate on expansion. They've also been sneaking in little topcoats of snow in the high-traffic areas -- top of Lolla, bottom of Cascades, etc. -- which is appreciated. The bad news is, of course, the limited natural snow. I want woods and soft bumps! It'll come eventually...

They made several changes around Jordan this year that makes it function much better. First is the lift system - if you came in the last two years, you might remember what a cluster it was. You'd enter the corrals, line minders would pick out groups of 8. and then everyone would go through the 8 RFID gates. Someone in the group of 8 would inevitably get hung up, the groups would get messed up, and you'd get chairs going up with 3, 6, 4, all while lines grew (at least on weekends). This year, they have 4 gates on each side of the lift terminal. You scan and enter the corral, and the minders organize groups of 8, pulling out of the singles lines on each side as needed. Huge improvement - almost every chair goes up full. Barker is being run similarly.

They also built a small building with restrooms at the base of the lift behind the igloo, as well as a mini guest services station. I'm sure it's helpful for those using the new, expanded igloo, as well as the food trucks. But I think it'll also have the effect of reducing traffic on Lolla - no more going down the long green cruiser just to take your skis off and schlep into the hotel to use facilities or go to the food trucks. Oh, and the new firepits outside the igloo are pretty nice, too.

Now we just need more snow.

Trail report says Blackhole and Upper Airglow active snowmaking. After this past push I think that will only leave Quantum Leap and Eureka? Will be cool to see them going after Eureka after such a long hiatus if they do it. Plus those two sections of Grand Rapids?

The machine made snow on Blackhole slid, so it will be a while before that opens.
