Yes, the common area remodeling is easier. The rooms is a huge undertaking as these are share owned by nuts. You have to get the HOA to sign off on the room remodels as the owners have to pay into that. That is the one, huge downfall to share owned hotels. Can't just remodel whenever you feel the need. And with LBO building them cheaply to start, quite a cost to bring the units up to the higher standards Boyne wants now. That's the big hangup with remodeling the summit, the ownership pushed back at the cost from what I have heard.

The Summit was built with using patrollers who were out on Injured Reserve....
Let's just say the quality of the construction left a lil to be desired, to say the least....
