GET OUT THERE!!! I got there pretty close to opening this A.M. and there were no crowds. Just ski racing kids practicing and Ski Patrol. Conditions are quite variable (or were when I left). Canyon had a lot of soft snow on top, Nor'Easter had some death cookies (Does it always? Seems that way to me...). Stinger was closer to hardpack but very edgeable with some soft snow falling on top. Exhibition was NICE. Lots of soft snow there. It's only going to improve with the snow coming down.

I only lasted about an hour before I had to give up. The Krypton Storm experiment isn't going so well... tried my custom footbeds under the liner today instead of the A-lines since the hard part on the A-lines was bothering my arches. That was an improvement but I need more grinding...or to give up and go back to the Nordica Beasts, which are a little sloppy but don't hurt. Had the Cho-Pat on my knee again and there were no complaints from it.

Pic of the moguls on Nor'Easter:

And looky what I scored!

Got on the snow around 3 today...Looks like they got an inch or two of fresh....Noreaster bumps were set up pretty good, the sun and some traffic softened them up pretty good. N-easter bumps on the turn were also pretty decent, a little firm but rippable....Temptor bumps were solid today, I think some traffic would have made a difference..I let it fly 2 or 3 runs but it was kinda dangerous...Pretty crowded today, both lifts were spinning, and the sun was poking in and out of the clouds. I got in 13 runs in about 2 and a half hours..Not epic like yesterday..but better than working. The institution served me well today :flag:

Way to go Steve! It's too bad you couldn't have gotten up there first thing this morning--the place was empty aside from the ski racing kids. Sounds like you had a great day nonetheless!
