Resort or Ski Area: Sundown

Conditions: Ice troughs hard bumps

Trip Report: got out for a few hours tonight. Hooked up with Greg and Mr. Evil. Not much to say other than the bumps are in good shape, just real firm. If it would warm up these things would kick some serious ass. tonight was not a night for speed. The faces on some of these will knock you out so we all just kind of worked on things. I was trying to fix a plant issue with my left pole.

btw, sundown has a boatload of snow, mostly manmade obviously. April looks like a given for them unless we get some kind of 70 degree monsoon sometime in march. big props to you guys over there. you really make the most with what you have to work with.

i made a video cause, well, i wanted to. cooking on youtube now.

Resort or Ski Area: Ski Sundown, CT

Conditions: Firm bumps with some crunchy new snow from last night. Cool with some squalls.

Trip Report: Quick hitter tonight. Met up with 2knees as I was clicking in. Saw Brian shoveling at the summit shack. Met withe MR. evil at the sun deck. We skied bumps. That's about it... ;)

March is here. Off to the MRV tomorrow!

Thanks for doing that vid. Nice job! My run starting at 2:05 was my best of the night, although you can tell we all are skiing conservatively given the icyness of the bumps. I can't wait until those bitches soften up.

You know Pat, a few of us have been meaning to talk to you about those pants. We were planning on having an intervention, but this guy had to go and ruin the whole thing.;-)

Thanks for putting the vid together. Last night was fun, but those icy bumps were pretty rough on the body. I am really feeling it today. After you left we got in maybe 2 or 3 more runs. Greg convinced me to hit the line the two of you were doing on skiers left. Much faster than the line I was doing all night on skiers right. I need some practice on that line. With any luck the rain wont trash the bumps and I can get out on Wed. night

Ease up on Pat, you guys, as far as his pants go. Who cares what the pants look like, it's the skier that counts.

What Pat really needs is a new pair of skis for those days like last Thursday when he's in deep powder & he needs more bulk underfoot than his mogul skis provide. Of course, Pat still skis great in powder on those skinny bump skis but he'd have more fun with something a little wider underfoot. So, Pat, keep the pants but get some new skis wouldya?

I knew you were kidding. I had to use the pants comment as a means to bring up the new skis comment. Anyway, Pat has already mentioned to me that he needs to get a pair of mid-fats for his non-bump days so it's not like this is some new comment.
