Yea just dont see it happening on a holiday week....Usually when they seed them they are like piles of concrete with jagged edges....

Probably right. I think even if base would support bumps on Nor'easter, "seeds" would eat the holiday crowd alive.

But Toms and Gunny are open so we're closer! :) I'll be up early tomorrow morning with the girls cruising around.

Yeah, base, weather and holiday week all argue against seeding.

Was aiming to get the kids out late afternoon into evening... will have to scrap that due to immature snow... may try tomorrow late afternoon/evening.

Sorry didn't ask. Demo'd fat turny skis.

Me too! Weird after coming off fully untuned bump skis. Kinda fun though. Skiing was great today. Snow was nice and carvable and my kids did great. Saw Chris on the hill. He expects to have enough coverage on Nor'easter after Thursday. Bumps will go in eventually, depending on weather.

those skis were weird huh? did a couple laps on gunny to see how they did and i was really suprised at how well htey handled that cruddy / mixed conditions.

COME ON SNOW MAKERS! soon.

anybody been having fun on the double fall line, skiers right of stinger? by far the best aspect of the hill right now for "challenging terrain"

I know I've talked up Sundown a lot over the years, but they are absolutely burying the place. First year I've seen daytime snowmaking opps...and during Christmas week. I was there for 4 hours from 10:30-2:30 today and back from 7-9:30 pm. I saw piles grow big time. Gunny was nuts. Sticky ass snow, but like a blizzard. They will be 100% tomorrow, first in the East. Yeah, small hill, but still impressive.

Talked to Chris for a minute tonight. Nor'easter and Ex bumps for Wednesday. That's the plan right now.

Was surprised they were not blowing on nor'easter to build base... But the effort elsewhere was impressive. Bumps by wed would be awesome.... I'll be there to ski em in. Twisters being tuned as we speak.
