It's nice to read about other NE ski areas here. There are so many I have yet to try. I'm especially looking forward to skiing in Maine next season. My husband really wanted to try Sunday River, since our pass is good there anyway. I'm hoping to get to Sugarloaf. It's really a hike for us though. We will have to make that a 5-day trip at least. Or head out that way for a few days on the tail end of a Killington stay.

A few Zoners did try to get a "ski new england ASC resorts" tour happening but it had limited success I think. I believe Twilkas was responsible for organizing that.

I'm definitely interested in doing it, but was hampered last season by my son's participation in the Killington hopefuls and limited snow early in the season. Maybe next season we can get some k-zoners to at least do a weekend in Maine and meet up w/ some of you a-zoners.

From someone up at KMart yesterday lower Ovation still has some coverage. Ribbons also on Highline, Skilark/Bittersweet and of course Superstar.

I hiked up to the top of Superstar last Saturday and Sunday and hiked to almost the top on Monday. The snow on Saturday was wonderful and on the other two days it was a little bit stiffer but still carvable. AndyZee and wife were with me and another K-zoner on both Saturday and Sunday although they opted to only hike to the top of the lower headwall. RustyK hiked with us as well and he did hike all the way to the top on Sunday. Skibumtress hiked a good part of the lower headwall but without skiis. She did get a ride on Rusty's skis for part of the way down. If I was up there this coming weekend I would hike again but I am done for this season since my place at K is rented for the next 3 months.
