I remember thinking that summit lift was super slow back in the early 90s the last time I skied there. It must feel even slower now compared to modern lifts. I plan to get back on Indy next year and will be sure to get back there.

How's it compare to the old Attitash triple? (assuming it didn't break down while you're on it😅)

Pretty much the same. It's about a 15 minute ride.

The topography at Tenney is rather inconsistent and doesn't lend itself well to TTB skiing. On the skiers right side of the mountain the top half is very flat and the good pitch is down low. Opposite for the skiers left side of the mountain. And there's no way to connect the two to have great, consistent TTB runs.

I'd almost think the best option would be to shorten the Hornet and then add an Upper Mountain lift basically where Pitcher and Shooting Star meet up. That would allow you to quickly lap the skiers left expert terrain up top off the new lift and then also quickly lap the lower mountain stuff of the shortened Hornet.

Add the upper mountain lift, but keep Hornet intact so you have redundancy to the summit (Eclipse triple out of the base then a short ski down to the bottom of your new lift)

I always feel the same way about Mt Ellen regarding pitch on opposite sides.

That would work too. Just give me a mid station on Hornet. I misspoke above. It's skiers left up high that has the good pitch. Skiers right up high is very flat. If I could only ski from tower 10 down on that side, it would be better.
