I just want to take the opportunity to extend a big, warm "THANK YOU" to Greg for his assistance in getting our new Liftlines discussion forums up and running at FTO. Following a crash this summer that threatened to destroy literally thousands of archived messages (we ultimately rescued everything up to June of this year), we switched software to phpBB, the same program that runs the boards here at AlpineZone. Greg not only selflessly provided his assistance in working out some programming kinks, but he's been very active in getting discussions going again on our boards. You've got a winner of a webmaster here, folks.

Thanks for the kind words, Marc. I'm happy to help. Most folks already know of FTO, but if you haven't been there, go check them out. I've been posting links to features and videos I find relevant to the Northeast. Good luck getting the forum back up to speed, Marc, and welcome to the AZ forums!

Thank god! I might be over there a lot more now. Now if you can just get your site's navigation to work with Mozilla... :D

(Sorry to tie up AZ boards with this, maybe this is a discussion best made on FTO, but I'll respond...)

Yeah, I know. The problem is that while browser technology has changed considerably since our last design revision, a complete site redesign is going to be hell on earth as FTO is now over 12,000 pages large. Let's be honest here: I still have a day job. However, I assure you that ideas are rolling around in my head.

josh, try firefox browser also by mozilla. that's what i'm running and i get FTO navigation fine after a Java installation. i used to run on opera, but never could get FTO nav drop down with opera. little issues have inspired the switch to firefox which is functionally an excellent browser, but i miss the layout and usability and options i had with opera.
