LAKE PLACID, New York — Wally Kessler has been fortunate enough to have lived his life travelling, hiking, and biking everywhere in the US. Join him on Saturday, September 17, 2005 at the High Peaks Info Center at Adirondak Loj at 8:00PM as he gives tips on enjoybale short rambles and rides around the US. Information will be given on weather, topography, food, and local attitudes.

Wally Kessler has extensive experience in eduaction as a school headmaster, assistant headmaster, program director, teacher, and tour guide. He is presently the Tour Guide for Timber Ridge Camps / Walrus Tours out of West Virginia. A graduate of the University of Vermont in Undergraduate and Graduate studies, he has been listed in Who Who in the East as well as Who's Who in America. Currently Kessler leads adults on tours of the US and Eastern Canada as well as directs a bicycling program for children which he inagurated and established.

Kessler's slide show and lecture is part of the ADK's Saturday Evening Lecture Series, funded with support from Stewart's Shops. The Saturday Evening Lecture Series offers presentations on natural history, backcountry recreation, and Adirondack history, art, and music. All ADK lectures are free and open to the public.
