We used to regularly go their for overnights in the summer. We've been to a fair number of concerts.

Park City summer night concerts are an absolute treasure. Between Deer Valley, Canyons, and downtown they get some impressive names for such a tiny town. I saw Nitty Gritty Dirt Band at Canyons a few months back in the fall. And that's to say nothing of the fact there's live local music all over the place pretty much nightly.

As noted in r/icecoast, Windham has been removed from the list of IKON destinations at

Interesting. I actually just reserved Sunday day trip. Figure staying south may avoid total bulletproof freeze and Vermont isn’t worth the time and lodging this weekend.

Next year’s full Ikon will get you 2 days at Jiminy Peak, Cranmore, and 2 places in Minnesota … throwing down the gauntlet at the Indy pass ! Also interesting that Bromley is not included despite having the same owner as Jiminy Peak and Cranmore.

Cranmore looks like it could be fun for a day or two and I’ve never spent much time in North Conway
I used to ski there with my family when my daughter was 6-9 or so. Was fun. You’re not gonna find too much challenge but they had one great bumped up steep run that was fun to lap. I wouldn’t make a special trip but if it worked out there are worse places (Attitash) to ski.

Probably Koessler which they now usually groom.

I'll always have a soft spot for Cranmore... I learned how to ski there, as did my dad, and before him my grandfather. Arlberg, Skimeister, and Kandahar are quintessential New England ski runs. They seem to be doing well and usually make a ton of snow, but it's a shame they seemingly groom everything now.

It’s a great time for anyone when fully open. Excellent views of the valley and a cool vibe, although they’re removing Zip’s Pub which makes me sad because it’s a top tier ski bar.

Damn, that was fun to lap on that lift over there.
Some other fun trails. When we went a few times there was a tone of snow and great bumps. Yeah, I have a soft spot for Cranmore too.

Wife and I used to hit Cranmore a bunch during the old Threedom pass days. Koessler bumped up was a blast, some other nice runs and the glades they have are a good bit of fun. Nice how close it is to North Conway, not right on the main drag but not very far off it. Wonder if they will ever expand it, some of the old master plans looked interesting.

This was posted in the Vail thread, but remember that Alterra does the same shit but is private so you don’t hear about the revenue and profits.
