Hi again all. This is your last chance to participate in my survey if you haven't already. If you did not read before, I am trying to analyze the effects of the buyouts of ski resorts on the public by getting your responses on this quick survey on your resort before and after it was last bought. https://forms.office.com/r/ksggegkbg1

Man, apparently Jackson Hole has never been successful then. They've offered 50% off to other mtn season pass holders discounts for a long time now, covering multiple ownership groups.

Clearly the above is in jest, but the UT contingency of this board acting like bad snow years are apparently death kneels to ski corps like its the 80s again shows a real lack of understanding of how the industry actually works.

I could see it take a while.

I got my gift certificate from Snowbird for their promo within a week or so after qualifying. (y)

I have not seen my credits hit my account yet but hopefully soon. I won't be getting to an Alterra owned mountain for at least a couple of weeks so no worries on my end but I will appreciate the free $60 for some après drinks on a deck after some spring riding.

When does Ikon pricing usually come out? I feel like it's been more like middle of March the past few years but hoping it is soon now that Indy and Epic have released their pricing. I am planning to drop from full Ikon to Base Ikon and supplement that with an Indy+ for next season. Based on last year's Ikon pricing it only ends up being about an extra $50 per person in my family. Hoping Ikon pricing remains relatively flat or has a larger renewal credit so that my math still maths since I pulled the trigger on Indy for my family last night in order to get the lowest rate before "losing my spot in line".

March 12 or 19 I was told. Had a call with them on separate issue and can only say service was fantastic.

I haven't seen it yet. I called Alterra and they were going to "look into it and call me back." I have not heard from them, shitty follow up Alterra.

i am mildly annoyed that the promo only applied in the usa and then i spent almost the entire promo period in canada. oh well. i saved way more than $60 just by existing in canada for 12 days.

Isn't Canada the 51st state? ;)

Seems odd. I thought that the promo was for IKON useage at any Alterra-owned resort. So Tremblant and Blue (IIRC it's Alterra-owned) would count.

the promo was for usage at any ikon resort. not alterra owned. any partner. in the usa. for most of feb. the credits can only be used at alterra properties. as a stratton and sugarbush skier that suits me fine.

my $20 is because i went to killington (non alterra owned) the first day of the promo, without knowing the promo existed yet. then i went to canada for 12 days the next weekend. i skied a quick session at magic the day after killington and had meh conditions and kinda regret not skiing groomers at stratton and banking another $20.

Ikon picking up 4 current Indy resorts. Lutsen, Snowriver and Granite Peak, they're all same company. I just skied all 3 on Indy, so I guess good timing. Other is Tamarack Idaho, that would mess up a Brundage/Tamarack Indy trip.

I assume they'll be coming off Indy, but who knows???
