I suspect that it has more to do with the amenities than the slopes.

Killington? If any, it's the ultimate eastern ski area for singles.
I've never seen one of these top 10 lists, without someone saying that the list made no sense. It seems to be an invariable rule of such lists.I even subscribe to AARP, though I'm not R yet, and I agree that list makes no sense.
My kids think 30 is old. Get over it!
I was wondering the same...No Deer Valley? Park City is listed I guess that covers DV.

Yeah, I saw that one too. That's what happens when an article on skiing is written by someone who has never skied a day in his/her life I suppose. lol.
How about Black Mtn's Breakfast Club for 55+? Breakfast Club. 55 and up ski all day for $20.00 and includes breakfast. Seems like a good deal for those retired!
Billski,
I think you need to develop a "Skiing on the cheap - Senior Edition". Some ski areas provide good senior discounts starting at a fairly young age (60 or 65). Others, have no senior discount at all, or want you to be 80 years old.
Truthfully, I'm locked and loaded with all the vouchers, passes and stuff I need for the year save for a couple. It's time to start skiing. I'll have a two-plank mind right now. Besides, I only do the cheap things that interest me. I'm not there yet. Maybe you?![]()
Not there yet, but getting close (58 ). There are some interesting deals out there for old geezers.
That's a lot of bang for the elderly buck.
