My old Yellow Lab (RIP) probably would've dropped Corbett's before I would have. When I lived in Burlington, I used to take him swimming at Huntington Gorge all the time. He'd drop 20-30 foot cliff dives there without even thinking about it. Zero hesitation. Loved to catch air.

Yea my yellow is a nut. Never seen him do anything over 15 ft but he has zero fear when it comes to jumping in the water. Docks, diving boards, roofs of pontoon boats. I'm 100% confident he would follow me if I had gone first.

Mine wasn't all that bright. I could have faked throwing a stick off Corbett's and off he'd go. The dog had amazing athletic ability. On the dirt back roads in Vermont, I'd let him out to run behind the car, it was one of his favorite things to do. He'd keep up until 30 mph for extended periods. He had to have a 60" vertical leap. You could put a frisbee 8 feet up in a tree when you got sick of throwing it to him and he'd jump up and get it out of the tree. miss that dog

I'm in the lab fanclub too. I've had two and both were as descibed. I used to ride for miles and miles on mtb and he would be right behind me. The other one was a fish!

I also fostered labs for a couple years, someties for days, sometimes months. There were sooo many different personalities but they were all 100 percent mental
