So I have only been hearing about this today. What a sad thing. :( That guy really looks a like a freak. And it is surprising to hear this story since Canada overall has very little crime IIRC.

This type of thing now happens anywhere. We just had a similar event happen a few weeks ago in Essex Jct, guy goes into a school kills a couple of teachers, injures several more. When people say " I can't believe this type of thing happened here" must be living under a rock.

It's starting to become everday news...now that's freaky

Yep. I did hear about the Essex Tragedy being a Vermonter. I was in the Whites that day hiking, so I missed the media blitz....

The world is full of depressed and disaffected people like this guy...not rare at all.

And how can we sit here and condemn him when society allows "games" called "Super Columbine Massacre" to exist for people to "play". The sickness begins right there.

Anyone see "Elephant?" It won the Palm d'Ore at Cannes a few years back. Impressive movie on the subject of School Shootings.
