Besides the skiing of course, is listening to your friends who hit it talking about how great it was and you should have been there. I hate that. Of course when it’s the other way around I do it too, but since I’m missing today I hate it.

I'll get sloppy seconds at Magic tomorrow, so I'm just excited about that. Might not be as epic as today, but I'm okay with it. As a SNE skier with young children, all the stars have to align for me to land epic powder. Might be precisely why I'm not that picky about surface conditions. I'll happily eat up tracked out powder and crud tomorrow. I gotta take what I can get.

Dido.....with a young daughter and some other major commitments, my buddy who is unemployeed this winter and skiing 3-5 days a week at the BEast sends me messages all the time "wish you were here"....me too, me too buddy....

Makes me think of missing the Valentines Day storm in 2007. Was going to go to Jay but a friend who was going with me (and we were going to stay at his parent's place) couldn't get home from Milwaukee where he was working.....he tried just about everything, including flying to NY or Boston and renting a car.....I too will have an epic day like that at some point in my life.

Boy I hope you and people in NNY/NNE get wacked by this. I expect rain for this area but on the up side it's supposed to get cold after it goes by and we have great snowmaking and should recover quickly. Camelback has laid down a good solid base and probably won't lose any terrain though we'll take a hit.

The worst thing about missing a powder day on the east coast is that if you don't get at it, it can be washed away in a blink of an eye.

Dude, you should've been at Gore today. I mean, it's only like an hour away from you, and you already have the pass. Isn't this what sick days are for?!?!?!

By the way, I have a lot of video I can post from skiing today that will further rub it in!!!!

Wooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!
