If anyone is looking for a good humor read, I suggest picking this book up.
Here's the website you can pick it up from

http://www.alanhandwerger.com/

The author is a long time Stowe resident and business owner.......and very funny. Some of the individual stories were published in the Stowe reporter over the years. So, if you feel like a good laugh, check it out

i have been working on a book like this for a few years. just a basic overview of the funny/strange/odd things i have seen over the years. its a damm had to assemble a string of random events into a cohesive story. much props for someone doing so.

Truth be told, I read the first few stories, had dinner and then just finished the rest non-stop....a rarity for me with books; think Tom Robbins Still Life With Woodpecker was the last book I read non-stop and that was 8 years ago.

Alan's wit and humor are top notch, but it's truly the wild experiences the man has lived through including spending six weeks in an induced coma following a horrific car accident where his family was called in three times for last rites that make his book work. I'm not saying that he's lead the most interesting life ever in mankind, but the man can tell a story like he has.

He's a dear friend and I'm so proud and happy for him that age 58 he's finally written his book and got it published, something he's wanted for all of his adult life.

get it....you'll like it

I figured this was a natural for the "You know you have a problem when" thread. Clearly, you have a prblem of some sort if there's a plunger in your tree.
