Just looked at NOAA and they say it's currently 54 in Providence. It's also raining. Very different than what we've been having.

I highly doubt it...its 75 and sunny here in Bethel...perefect summer day. However, last night had that cool, crisp, distinctly fall feel in the air...got down to the 40s. Patience grasshoppers...we've got another month of summer left then the obligatory "indian summer" along with that pain in the a** warm-up in November before we can finally say its winter.

It's 49 here right now. It's 76 in Caribou, ME. 77 in Burlington. 104 in Charleston, SC. It's weird looking at the temp map and seeing this small bubble of cold air right over MA, southern NH and VT, and northern CT and RI.

I've never seen it this cold on an August afternoon.

It's actually pretty nice at Mt. Wash: 52 deg., 12 mph wind and 40 mile vis.

Wow... even with the rain it's weird that it's colder here. It just cracked 50 for the first time since about 2 here. It feels like one of those winter storms where its borderline too warm and raining. Hopefully it all gets out of the system now and we get all snow this winter.

70'S today in Warren VT near Sugarbush.

48, at 4:00 this morning at 1500 feet elevation. Not to unusual for this time of year. Should see a frost on the mountain tops by the first week or so of september.
