Just drove up I-93 from Boston to Woburn and the driving is miserable. And now it's raining even harder. Losing a lot of snow cover......

It's just sad to see how quickly so much white stuff can magically disappear. Easy come, easy go. Oh well, looking forward to Sunday/Monday maybe more storms.

Yea, bummer. The cold is suppose to return, I hope. Sugarbush is opening Lincoln Peak at south on Friday. I hope the conditions are good. I might head up to Stowe on Saturday. But I'll will be at Sugarbush on Sunday most likely.

You ain't kidding. Almost makes me wonder why I'm so meticulous removing/moving snow with the snow blower and shovel.

Hmmmf. Who am I kidding... I love being out there with "tools". ~grunt~~grunt~~

Taken from Burlington NOAA 7:00 am discussion:

Pay close atttention to last sentence...... :D

A FEW GLITCHES EXPERIENCED WITH LATEST SOFTWARE UPGRADE AND GRIDDED
GRAPHICS. ALL PRODUCTS...INCLUDING A WINTER STORM OUTLOOK...HAVE
BEEN ISSUED.

RETURN OF ARCTIC AIR ON GUSTY WINDS AND WITH PARTLY CLOUDY SKIES AND
A FEW SNOW SHOWERS WILL BRING US BACK TO REALITY THAT IT IS MID
DECEMBER.

REGARDING THE COLD...UNDERCUT MAV GUIDANCE TEMPS A COUPLE DEGREES
TODAY THRU SATURDAY NIGHT. BASED ON VERY LOW DWPTS UPSTREAM AND
FORECASTS OF H8 TEMPS TO -22. COLDEST NIGHT WILL BE SATURDAY WITH
LOWEST DWPTS AND BEST RADIATIONAL CONDITIONS AND FEW SPOTS WILL BE
COLDER THAN -10 IN THE ADIRONDACKS AND NORTHEASTERN VT.

THE STORM SUNDAY NIGHT THROUGH MONDAY HAS UNUSUAL CONSISTENCY AND
CONTINUITY AMONG THE MODELS AND SEVERAL SUCCESSIVE RUNS. LIKE SO
MANY SYSTEMS OF THIS TYPE...IT WILL HAVE ONE SURGE OF OVERRUNNING
VERTICAL MOTION WHILE THE SRN STREAM H5 AND H7 ARE STILL AN OPEN
TROF. BUT THERE ARE SOME INGREDIENTS FOR A NEGATIVE TILT AND
SLOWING AND CLOSING OF THE UPR CIRCULATION WHEN A NRN STREAM S/WV
DROPS INTO THE GREAT LAKES BEHIND THE INITIAL SYSTEM. THESE
INGREDIENTS ARE PRESENT AND THREATENS A PROLONGED HEAVY SNOW EVENT
SUNDAY NIGHT THRU THE DAY MONDAY. 06Z ETA AND GFS RUNS GIVE QPFS
OVER ONE INCH ACROSS ESPECIALLY VERMONT. ASSUMING MIXED PRECIP
STAYS SOUTHEAST OF OUR AREA...AND DURATION WRAP-AROUND UPSLOPE FLOW
KICKS IN TO AUGMENT ANY BANDED PRECIP ALONG THE H7
FRONTOGENESIS...WE COULD BE LOOKING AT SNOWFALL AMOUNTS SIMILAR TO
LAST WEEKENDS STORM.

ANother storm lurking for the Wed-Thursday time frame too :D

I'm thinking Monday is a good day to take off of work.
I'm gonna try for next Thursday. I came in to work today after yesterday's washout. Ther are chances for snow on Sunday/Monday and Wednesday of next week so Thursday may be good. ~~~Fingers Crossed~~~
