anyone going to MRG - this is telemark weekend and I'm wondering what people think about the crowds - especially Sunday?

I never used my Stratton pass either. The problem is I don't want to go there on a weekend and if I take a day off of work I don't want to waste it on Stratton. I should give it a try since I have never been there.

Go to Stratton Sunday. Get out early. They all leave for home early. From up on the hill, the lines looked long from 10:00am - 11:00am at the base. Never had a line at Snow Bowl, URSA, Shooting Star, or Sunrise. Was a great day. Conditions are excellent! Don't bother with the Gondola - it sucks. Some pics on my trip report march 3/4. It wouldn't be a waste during the week either. Don't beleive what you've heard. Anything double black they don't groom. Do Bear Down, Spruce, and Slalom Glade a few times and then tell me what you think! (BD is the picture with the bumps forming in report!) The woods are sick! I think you'll be surprised what a good time you can have here. Just an honest opinion...........................

I am hoping it won't be to bad tomorrow. Hope people don't head up early for 3 day ticket deal.

I was actually leaning on MRG this weekend, but the Telefest is why I am leaning towards Jay. Nothing wrong with hundreds of Pin Heads, but my aversion to lines runs quite deep, even at one of my favorite ski areas.

I think this will be a great Wildcat weekend, temps in the 30's & 40's with plenty of snow in the woods. 22 of 23 skiers did over 100k of elevation on Monday. That should say something good about what the conditions are like.

This looks like a classic Wildcat spring ski weekend. Plenty of snow in the woods and temps in the 30's and 40's. 22 of 23 skiers skied over 100K verticle feet Monday. That should say something good about trail conditions.

leave your cares in the ski bag - nothing about burke is stressful - especially skiing spring corn

we would be there sunday if not for previously scheduled family events

enjoy
