Thought this might be interesting.

Name the things that end a "thread" for you. Or perhaps just lose your interest, insult, scratch your head, or fail to catch your interest.

Yeah, I'm going for the politics / religion angle. Anyone who thinks there has been any significant difference from one politician to the other over the past 200 years, well they need to take.....

Oops, now I'm beginning to sound like the stuff I rant about!

if there can be any remote tie-in to the original topic theme, then I say let it go.

But there really isn't any excuse for personal baseless attacks.

It is a hard vote between "personal attack" and "know it all". Religion / politics do not bother me. I have my faith and do not "promote" it on any web forum and the same with politics. I like to read other people's political / religious views, I choose not to respond as everyone is entitled to his/her beliefs religiously and politically.

I haven't had any problems on this board (other than maybe one from ASC) where I decided not to respond because I was upset with anyone's response.

I voted for the politics/religion thing too. More specifically, Bush-bashing and turning forums at various outdoor sites into propaganda for GreenPiece, Hug-a-tree, Durt Furst, etc.

Had to go with the Politcal/religious slant. My beliefs are mine, yours are yours. It's great to share and defend your ideas. Just don't expect that everyone should agree with you.
