Resort: Titus Mtn -Northern Dacks
Conditions: Manmade ,natural good base , PP
Opening day : 2 lifts . 7 trails including the bunny hill. My Buddy and i started at 9:30 skied till 1:30
temps were . About 30 degrees , no wind pretty good base with full side to side coverage and no bare or thin spots on the 7 open trails . We skied all trails had 17 runs in total . Ski surface allowed great edging and nice hi speed criusing till about 12:30.
As the day progressed and temps rose surface became a little heavy and slower and started to crud up . So we figured we had gotten the best of it and being first day all we wanted was to get back up on em and iron out the kinks from the off season
All in all , a good first day as we got our turns in with some nice high speed runs before it started to get slow. Sure hope the freezing rain for tomorrow is only a couple of hrs as predicted then returning to snow .
From the looks of the rest of the mtn ( yeah we snuck in around some closed area too ) it won't be long before the guns flesh out the rest of the trail system .
