Looking for a cheap price on the stick-on 6-hour toe warmers that the ski areas sell for $3/pair. I want to stock up for cheap. Mass, NH, VT shopping area. I found them for $2 a pair at Ken Jones in Nashua, NH.

If you know of anyone else who is selling them for cheap/clearance, I'd appreciate the tip.

Thanks.

Try Sports Authority (Nashua off of exit 1 or in the Woburn Mall). IIRC I paid a lot less than $2 per pair.

Do they ever work for you? Hand warmer definitely works. But those need
continuous supply of oxigen to keep on oxiding to generate heat. Attached to
toes deep inside of the ski boots, they quickly run out of oxigen and get cold
pretty quickly. I tried to use them a couple times but they just didn't work for me.

Hand warmers don't work in the feet...you need to get the toe warmers, they don't need as much oxygen to work.

Sorry I sounded like I put hand warmer in my toes. I did put "toe warmer" in my
toes which were from the same company as the hand warmers. They seems to
have the same kind of contents as hand warmers just packaged differently.

They are for my daughter. She is small and has practically zero body fat. A gust of wind can chill her (and blow her over!). They work great for her.

Hmm, come to think about it, they work for my son too. He says they stay warm.
Maybe my stinky toes deprive oxygen quicker.

No problem...I'm surprised that they don't work for you, my son had a problem with them being too warm.

I don't use them myself, and I only think that there was one time this season that my toes got a bit cold...seems that having a close-fitting boot helps my feet stay warmer.

Which is the main reason I don't want my daughters to take off their shoes after their sports matches. We would all suffocate in the car ;)

And if you believe that one.....

$12.50 for a box of ten at LLBean.com with free shipping if you have the LLBean credit card. I love that card for the free shipping!

I get 'em at Ski Fanatics in Campton, NH for about $1.39 a pair if I buy them by the box (40 pair). It's not the cheapest price, but I've found that the brand and expiration date are very important. If they aren't the toe heaters by Grabber/Mycoal, and "fresh", they aren't worth buying at any price. (YES! they have an expiration date - check the wrapper carefully and you'll find it.) I've seen great specials on toe and hand warmers that were near or past their expiration dates, and they definitely don't work as well. By the way - put them ON TOP of your toes - they work much better that way. Anyway, Ski Fanatics has always had them at a reasonable price, and they're always "fresh".

I got a bunch at Home Depot last spring, less than a buck a pair. Then I bought my wife some battery boot warmers..... so... I think there are some sticky warmers kicking around here somewhere.
