1. Sugarbush
2. Magic (will probably ski it on the way back from out New Hampshire vacation)
3. Sugarloaf
4. Jay Peak
5. Stowe

The above list is "my list". The family list would be different, because of my wife and daugther skill level. Plus, they don't feel the need to ski all day:evil:. Family list would look more like.

1. Bretton Woods (I've skied, but they haven't. Will ski this on our New Hampshire trip)
2. Okemo
3. Killington
4. Mount Snow
5. Whiteface

I'm sure there are some great smaller family mountains, but I'm not to fimiliar with them. Down here in Delaware we really only here about the big guys. If it wasn't for Alpinezone, I wouldn't know about all the great mid and small ski areas that are in the North East.

You can basically copy and paste the Top NE Resorts list.

1. Stowe
2. MRG
3. Jay
4. Whiteface
5. Le Massif

I'm not counting Saddleback/Sugarloaf, as I have plans to finally get there this year.

Been to Smuggs and Stowe, but only a day or two, and over a decade ago. Smuggs is one of my top mid-week targets on a powder day on a good snow year.

  • Magic (to see what all the AZ hype is about)
  • Burke (to see what all the AZ hype is about)

3. Cannon
4. Berkshire East
5. Black Mtn, NH

(Though I think I need to improve my skill set first for some of those...)

I've skied Tremblant, Ste Anne and Le Massif. Will likely hit Le Massif and Ste. Anne again for Feb. vacation this season. Have been wanting to try some of the Eastern Township areas for years but usually just stick with Jay when in the neighborhood.
