Trail closure due to Moose at Jay

Was up at Jay today and they had the second half of Kokomo closed. The sign read "Trail Closed Moose Habitat". I guess the moose which has been featured in some of their pictures of the day has taken up residence here and when he is around they close the trail. It was closed Saturday, open Sunday and Closed again on Today.

This really sucks for the boarders since the detour takes you out onto the flats of Ullr's and walking is usually required.

yeah she's been around the mountain for a while although hopefully she'll be leaving soon. She started over by timbuctoo a month ago and has been slowly working her way across the mountain. Hopefully she'll find the golfcourse soon and just hang out over there until golf season starts.
