Tremblant help

Hey all,

So, the wife and I decided that, rather than take 1 big honeymoon, we would take smaller trips during each of the four seasons.

Our "winter" trip is to Tremblant. I ski. She does not. That isn't a huge issue.

What I am looking for is some help from anyone with knowledge on budget friendly accommodations as well as "must do's" including food, drink, etc.

Since I teach, I am stuck to going during President's Week in February which doesn't bode well for budget friendly. We were thinking off-mountain lodging would be our best bet. One of the BnB's we were looking at (the Refuge) is totally booked.

Anyone have any thoughts? (Aside from, "you tool...you should have stayed single")

PM Warp Daddy, he lives realtively close and skis there. I have not been in years to Tremblant.

I suggest staying at a Tremblant hotel. If your wife does not ski there is plenty to do in the Disney village at Tremblant. We went years ago and the lodging was not crazy expensive for a standard room.

The village is a pretty fun place to, being able to walk back to your room will be well worth it.

BLR .. We usually stay on the Versant Nord side ,ma bit more hard core rather than the joie d'vivre style of the village on the Versant Sud side .

Our usual haunt has been condoed out , so we now stay at a very nice Auberge :?les Plumes Et Glisse Which is 2 minutes from theVersant Nord lodge . It has a very nice ambiance and elegant cuisine BUT for a young couple , one of whom does not ski would be better served by staying in the Village proper .. more excitement , more lively crowd , . You will experience a very continental style in the village and your wife will be happily busy cruising all the the boutiques , cafes and other diversions in the village . And do the casinos a chairlift ride over to the Versant Soleil sid eor you can ski directly there and meet her for lunch there

Nothing is really budget as far as cuisine but hey ,,,,it IS your honeymoon dude ... Go for it ... Relax indulge , the Quebecois have a sryle an d elan in both presentation and quality and it is to be savored as an experience ..

arrive. park. never touch your car until you leave.
she wakes up late, you ski early. she walks a little in the village to meet you for a lunch. you just ski down and meet her.
parking every morning is such a pain.

prez week is arguably the busiest there. think it's more crowded than xmas. it's kinda late to get a decent lodging without shelling out your dough. food is very good. look for spa packages for your wife.

You should go to Quebec if there is honeymoon involved... it's about a zillion times more romantic. Save Tremblant for when you are taking your kids. :???:

QC would be a many hours closer drive for you as well. Ski mt st Anne in the morning, hang in the city the rest of the day.
