. Alchemist down in Waterbury for one of the best microbrew houses around if you are into that. If you got a good price to boot, its in the cards.

For another night, http://www.marsalasalsa.com/ is really good cooking in Waterbury. Been back twice, its reasonably priced. It's never very busy, but don't let that dissuade you, it's like family there.

Yep, Alchemist has great beer and good food but it's popular and can be busy. Waterbury has really grown on me. Ocha (SP?) is a Thai restaurant just down the street from the Alchy. I thought they had great Pad Thai (I'm a fan and have tried it at lots of places) and folks I was with really enjoyed there curries. Prices seemd pretty good as well. I've heard Arvads is pretty decent. It's been a while but we've always liked Tanglewoods.
