Drove up to Vermont for a few days of R&R. If you stay away from the Stowe's, Manchester's et al of Vermont it is soooo nice in the summer. I actually stayed with friends in Chelsea which is well off the beaten path.

Went down to Warren Vlg to get a sandwich and to check my mail. The valley was typical summer mellow but I hit gridlock in Warren Village. A big wedding group was leaving the Pitcher Inn and had the little downtownn in virtual gridlock. Some of these people actually park right in the middle of the road blocking the whole road. Geesh!....forget the Warren Store so I headed up West Hill to get some grub at Paradise Deli.

As Lode and Noski have mentioned the constuction of the new developement is happening but people I talked to seemed to think it was progressing slowly.

I was totally stoked to see the demolition of the blight at the bottom of the Sugarbush Access RD. It is(was)? owned by people from Brazil(?) who have been letting the buildings rot away for years. It wasn't all that long ago when there were people living there but had to be removed by the state as there was no clean running water.

No action at Whaleback but I think we all know they are waiting for additional investment funding before they begin.
